Jasmin Janette Jeschke
Jasmin Janette Jeschke was born in 1984 in the small town of Erin, Ontario, Canada. At the early age of nine years, Jasmin learned all about the fundamentals of art and painting under her mentor, David Huber, a local artist to which this foundation paved the way of her future career in art.
Growing up, Jasmin sold portraits, participated in art clubs and local fairs, painted murals, and completed an art correspondence course through Art Instruction Schools. Her High School co-op program led her to instructing art to public school children, and in addition, taught private drawing lessons to young children.
After High School, Jasmin studied at the Sheridan College Institute in Oakville, Ontario. Completing a one-year art fundamentals course, she continued at Sheridan in the four-year Bachelor of Applied Arts Illustration program, graduating with honours and a B.A.A. degree in 2007. Jasmin also travelled often around Central America and Europe, including an art adventure in Italy that became one of the most remarkable experiences of her life.
Jasmin’s subject matters are mainly based on animals, nature, environment and spirituality. Combining her love for art and children’s education, she now works at a children’s educational materials catalogue company as their in-house graphic artist. Jasmin finds herself extremely blessed, enthusiastically waiting for what the future will bring next.
